Is there a way to transform (translate, rotate, scale, etc) any object and then select another but instead of having to type in the same data, just hit a button that says "Transform Again" or "Transform Same"..?

Case in point:

Today I was lasso-selecting a giant group of objects, and used the Gripper to translate it along one axis.

Unfortunately for some reason some of the fasteners didn't get selected.

I hit Undo and re-selected everything and finally success..

Would have been nice if instead of hitting Undo and waiting for my slow macbook to do its thing, to just select what didn't get selected the first time and apply a Transform Same.

If this can already be done or if there's an easy way to do so, please let me know...

Not as an afterthought that I know of, but create a vector reference for each transformation beforehand and a line is a "from" and "to" reference, an arc is a rotation centre and angle, two lines or a two-segment line are a scale reference factor.

Thanks and much appreciated. Although this works, I was hoping for a solution for circumstances where some objects from a selected group didn't transform along with the ones that did.

Then one could just select those non-transformed objects and click a button or tool that says 'transform again'.

In an ideal world, that 'transform again' tool would recall the last transformation data and apply to the non-transformed objects.
