I cannot seem to get a part (a cylinder with draft) to "insert" itself axially to another part when using the tool in mates. I am a noob at SharkCad so please go easy on me.

Thanks in advance

Hi, I would go Connection - and align the centre points. Then go Align Face, and then that can move the cylinder into the hole (or whatever) and this can be adjusted with an offset.

Hello

If you are using the insert face tool you need to do 4 selections

1 select the face of the pins outer diameter
2 select the face of the inside of the hole
3 select the bottom face of the pin
4 select the planer surface of the object that the hole is in
