i was working in MTS i don't think i changed a setting but i must of. All the boxes that are part of the program, have become bold ie Select Mask, Concept Explorer, i have looked through all the settings but i cannot find any setting relating to this.

The top one is the bolded one, the pictures don't do it justice. The bottom picture is on a different machine it is the way the top picture used to look

The easiest way for me, if you are using Windows, is to do a 'Print Screen', Open Paint and Paste [CNTRL-V]
Use the rectangle to SELECT and CROP, and then save.

While drawing the font of all functons-windows became suddenly BOLDED .

This happens also in VC 9 and also as in version 10. There is no reason for it, actually in my case I had drawn something and would click the grippers-window (the inspectors-window opens automaticly by roll-over ).
The bolded font for the menues has the unpleasant effect, that I can't read the text in full length because the text boxes stay normal.
The attached picture shows the data-entry-area, the gripper-window and even the later opened preferences-window with the bolded fonts.

It may be by happenstance that this occures when clicking the gripperbox, but sometimes the progamm crashs when I do this. The only one commonness I could remember is, that 3 or more workplane-windows were opened.

I attache an other picture with the data-entry-area that will shown the effect.
I have shorten the decimal values to 3 points after the comma, because otherwise the part left of the comma is disappearing behind the left edge of the text-window.
