I have drawn a rectangular polygone between 2 construction lines on the workplane in top-view.
After that I modified the messures of the X- and Y- dimensions in Width- and Hight-window of the data-entry.

But when I change the values the polygone is jumping away to a different position without any relationship to the two guidelines.

What is going wrong there?

You have negative numbers for one size, and positive numbers for
the other one.

... yes, but thats not my typing, thats automatical and not to avoid. I believe there is a crossing of values of coordinate datas. Very cryptic.
The effect is also coming up when using an empty workplan and I put the startpoint to origin. The drawn polygone is jumping far away.

The negativ values of Width and Hight are depending to the startpoint of drawing, pull out to left or to right side, going up or down. I aspect only the true dimensions of the polygone in the Width and Hight-windows and not combinated with the direction of the drawing. I believe that is the point because when typing in the keyboard new values, I don't know on what way I had drawn the polygone some time before.

Version ViaCad 9 had never shown this effects.
