I purchased ViaCAD 2D 10. Never received any download instructions.

I purchased directly through this website, I did not use the Mac App Store. (I guess that was a mistake.)

I have written to punchcad to try to get my serial number. They do not reply.

Anyone know what the normal procedure is for obtaining download instructions?

Suggestions appreciated.

Did you place a ticket at

If you have an account you can login at the top of the main page and look for your order and see if the download links are there.

Yes, I made a support request, I found a section for "ordering problems". I made a ticket in that area.

No reply to my request.

Well, I'm not really sure if I have the right type of account. I have been a ViaCAD user for many years but my old forum username and password did not work. So I had to create new ones to use this forum. I presently have v8 for Mac, I am trying to purchase v10 for Mac.

I looked all over the website, I could not find anything on the top of any page where I could login check my order status. When I placed the order, I did keep my order number and my customer number but I cannot find a place on the website to utilize that information to try and download my paid for a copy of ViaCAD 2D v10 for Mac.

At the top of the Punchcad page is a login at top right corner

Try Punchcad.com and click on the shopping cart and then the login appears on upper right side

OK,

"punchsoftware.com" is what I needed. I was using "punchcad.com"

So now I am logged in. I can see my account information it says that I have "NO Orders".

I just looked at my credit card statement, the payment is there as, "PUNCHCAD". Moreover, when I completed my order they gave me a customer number, as well as an order number.

About 10 hours ago.

I did create a customer account that I now fear might be unrelated to my purchase. As it shows no orders have been placed.

I will TRY calling them tomorrow.

(Obviously I should have purchased this through the Mac App Store. I like to buy software directly because they get more of the money that way. No good deed goes unpunished.)

Hi Jason,

Punchcad has emailed me a download link and a serial number for Mac v10.

I now have the software running on my Mac Pro Silver Tower and MacBook Pro, running Mac OS 10.12.1

The one minor glitch is that my software does not show up in my order history with Punchcad. So I would not be able to download it again if necessary. I have a good backup, and the cost of the 2-D software is low so this is no big deal.

We are working on a service pack for ViaCAD 10. When ready, it will be available from within the app using the Help: Current Version menu item. You can use this to keep current.
