Some of the earlier Mac versions did not support SketchUp until Trimble released their 64 Bit SDK. I'll send an email to tech support to see if the build they have has sketchup.

SketchUp Import is not in the build tech support has (build 1444). SketchUp was added back into Mac in 1146.

On Wed, Encore asked that development update the ViaCAD builds to the 1152 codestream. So we're going to make another update for Encore and tech support which will include SketchUp on Mac.

According to the About drop down it looked like I had build 1103 and the latest was 1109 so I downloaded that and installed. Looks like the Sketchup import was removed completely in 1109. So that mean it will be available in a new build next wed?

Thanks!

Development sent new ViaCAD builds to Encore QA Friday. SketchUp Import is in these builds. Encore is testing and adding an updated DRM. They hopefully will release shortly.

Do not hold your breath waiting for the new build! You'll be too old to use a computer by the time they release anything.

The software has so many bugs that they keep saying there is fix in the works, hang tight. Yea, I've been waiting 6 months now.

Paid for ViaCad that was advertised with Sketchup import to find it had nothing of the sort!

EvoSoft sent a suite of installers to Encore which they have not yet released. If you private email me your splash screen or invoice, I'll send you links to the build we sent.
