I couldn't find a link to mail tech support via support.encore.com in the most relevant seeming articles despite the statement "At the bottom of each article are options for contacting Technical Support." The statement "Technical support is limited mainly to crashes, error messages and lockups" does seem to suggest that while what I'm experiencing seems like a bug, it's not something support is geared to help solve. The support site suggested going to this forum for help, so I'm posting this here in the hope someone knows or can help me find out what's going on.

Over the past few days I've several times found that a file I'm working on has sprouted multiple copies of groups, which have been un-grouped. As a result, a layer that was supposed to contain about 250 items ends up containing from several thousand up to some tens of thousands of items. This usually happens when I've not touched the program for some hours, but have left it running unattended.

I've uploaded two sfx files to gigafile.nu—the download links are this, for mori20150118.sfx and this, for mori20150119.sfx in case anyone would like to take a look. They're rather messy, as I've been doodling along trying to learn the ins and outs. I tried to upload them to the forum directly, but for some reason couldn't—perhaps they were just too big, as I was able to upload a zip file containing all diagnostic reports.

For what it's worth, the copies that have spontaneously appeared resemble linear arrays and other array work I did on groups of lines before leaving the computer, but twisted and shifted in a weird way, and un-grouped.

The program is installed on a Macbook Air with a 1.7 GHz (Intel Core i7) processor and 8GB of memory.
The program title is Shark FX v9.0.2—at least that is the program that opens by default when I click the files. (I do have Shark FX 9 R25 installed as well.)
I'm using a Japanese version of OS X 10.10.1

Again, in principle I'm doing nothing when the problem appears. I find the weirdness when I re-open a file or resume work after leaving the computer unattended for a period of time.
The issue occurs randomly, and there are no error messages.
I've taken no steps to troubleshoot except to peek at the console. The program has not crashed, so there are no crash reports.

Any input/suggestions would be much appreciated. It takes quite some time to clean up the mess every time this happens. (Suggestions to help clean up the mess efficiently would also be greatly appreciated.)

OK—I tried to upload the SFX files, but without success. Here are the diagnostics from the Console.
