What are the "CAD" rules for being able to split / trim curves, other than the obvious "they must intersect" rule? Are Groups or Blocks of curves not good to try and slice and dice? Anything else?

Not really mate :( have you looked at the help any ?

VC desperately needs the ability to window select geometry in order to trim/split multiple items in one go ? It's very very painful and long winded at the minute..Tim is this on the agenda for change ?

Paul, no activity here. When I trim a bunch of stuff, I usually double click on the arrow tool to select all, then select the trim tool and just click the pieces to remove. Or if its a area, I will use the region trim command.
