Just to say that adding OBJ file export was a really good move IMHO.

ViaCAD can now export to Cheetah 3D and Unity

Cheetah's rendering engine is superb and Unity's RT 3D VR engine is second to none! Top banana!!! :D :D

What a trio!

I agree!

To export OBJ to Blender 3D, I have to ensure that the line ending is set to Unix...in case that helps anybody out there.

Actually it should be "What a quad!", because Ribbonsoft's QCad works really well with VC/ Shark too. Qcad is like (or very similar to) AutoCAD, but it is also multiplatform. QCad, unlike AutoCAD, is also really simple to use, and doesn't come with that 4 figure price tag either.
