Hello Tim,

i already tried since two weeks ago to buy an upgrade of ViaCAD, but the punch store gives an error after a while when using PayPal. I also wrote Punch Support about it a while ago but didn´t received any reply yet. Maybe you can let the Punch guys know that this problem exists.

Hi, Stefan

I am not 100% sure about the punch store but paypal does need cookies to work. Try this in Firefox:
1.tools>options> privacy>cookies>exceptions
2. type www.paypal.com and click allow.

See picture

Thanks for the tip Jason,

but unfortunately it doesnt work either with the punch store, while PayPal works now fine with your procedure.

This is what i got now after using cookies for PayPal but no cookies for the punch store:

If i enable cookies also (again) for the punch store then the dark brown error screen from my previous post reappears.

I would go into the exceptions box for cookies and allow the following.

www.store.punchsoftware.com
www.punchsoftware.com

I followed your advise but... the punch store is still generating the same error message, but thanks anyway for your help.

I will wait until this is fixed.

Here are the list of cookies the punch software site uses during a transaction that I saw when I purchased from the store.

www.punchcad.com
www.store.punchsoftware.com
www.punchsoftware.com

What are your settings for javascripts? Options >content? See attached pic.

Also goto tools >view page info and you can see what the web page is doing.
