You mean like with Rhino?
Rhino adds a shell(dll) to explorer from an extra option/download, not directly from Rhino installation.

Certainly one for Tim to look at.

Hey Paul :)

Yes it does- not very high res, but it's there :D

Coverflow (where you can view the file previews) mode is extremely useful (think iPod record selection by sleeve). Coverflow is built right into Mac OS X (Leopard).

BTW, Rhino for Mac is looking really good- and it may have to join my purchase list too. Shark and Rhino are going to be a dynamite combination imo.

TT

Yes, the resolution needs bumping up

Of course there is a file size trade off .. but hard disks are huge these days .. I do't see why we cant have (optional) 512 x 512 previews

Something curious happens with Shark files in Leopard

When you search for sfx files or vc3 files in the finder .. you get the generic doc icon

With Shark 5 - I remember you get one preview which is correct and then all the other found files have the same preview image

Odd, because I don't. What sometimes happens however, is that a bully application- like Solidworks eDrawings (or M$ Word), changes all my QCad dxf file icons to Solidworks ones.

Jol, right click and choose get info and change the default opening application for VC files to VC/ Shark default (althought telling you this is probably like telling your grandmother to suck eggs? ;) :D )
