Im referring to a part put on the forum just recently. I want VC to highlight the feature in the tree which has been selected on the screen, Here is what I am doing to select the part.

1) LBM click the part
2) LMB click the fillet or feature I wish to change
OR
Just RMB click on the feature and Object Ino

This does not highlight the feature in the tree, which I find annoying especially in cases were a re-arrange is necessary...kinda guessing then !!!

Next beta ?:p

Yes, a preselection feature would be nice. We have that in UG. Say for example, you are adding a blend, and VC is looking for a line. The line will pre-hilight in a different color.

The pre-hilight might be magenta, the selected color might be orange.

here's how it looks when the mouse is over the line, before clicking on it

and here's how it looks after the line has been selected:

A preselection was not asked for. What was asked for was for the feature selected on the object to be auto highlighted in the concept explorer.

Hi Paul,

Well, I am then not now 100% sure on what you are looking for, is it as I first thought, in that you want a selected feature to auto show in the concept explorer, or is it for the full name of the feature to show in the object info, or both?
