Skin Solids - fine tuning in the data tab of the objectedit tab ?

Forget it !

It doesn't work

Never has

Skin Surface with guides and you and to change "use draft" or "perpendicular skin" and it does work

SO .. WHY ?

Let's fix it

change "magnitude" in the skin surf or solid tool ..

.. doesn't make a blind bit of difference

Let's fix them !

Hi jol,

I have made many posts concerning the skin solid/surface with guides, but the posts are usually ignored.

I have stopped using VC pro for now, I just pop back to see if "Tim and co" have actually fixed the outstanding problems, such as with the skin with guides, 2 rail sweeps, match surface etc, rather than adding bells and whistles to shark 6.

There are lots of amazing advancements in the pipeline for Shark6 .. as we've seen from Tim's peek movies

However, we can't let some of this SHIT from years gone by carry forward any further !

Come on guys - let's get this stuRf sorted once and for all !

They mean nothing to me when the tools present dont work, or, there are not enough options to make them work.

I have tried to show problems with various tools in an attempt to get them fixed, but it usually ends with Tim ignoring the thread and others (probably Tims fan club) jumping in stating there is not a problem and how wonderful Tim is.

Well, it would be good for the product, but IMHO, fantasy at the moment to think things will change (come on, I am still waiting for the match surface to work, over 12 months after the problem was actually admitted as a bug).

I know exactly what you're saying - some of the tools are still lacking maturity in current versions. Don't think nobody hears you Steve !

Tim's making some awesome progress .. I wish there were 10 Tims - that's not gonna happen tho'

V6 is going to be fantasticle !

VC6? I'm confused. I'm using VC6 Pro, patch 838. Are you saying there's something else to that?
