Hi,

I just got an email to try out Turbocad 3 for amc and I was surprised tos ee it looks exactly the same as Viacad. Are they the same just with different names?

Does one give more for your money than the other (Turbocad says they give you thousands of gallery items etc.)

Please help.

Cheers

Tim explained some times ago that he sold a licence of Concept 3D to TurboCad.
Concept 3D was the predecessor of Viacad.
He will probably confirm...

We did lease code for Concepts 3D to IMSI for their TurboCAD for the MAC only. However, they just produced V3 of the code and We are now on Version 5.

Our software has many imporvements of their version. If you are comparing ViaCAD and TurboCAD, Make sure you compare ViaCAD Pro, formerly Concepts 3D, not ViaCAD 2D/3D as Pro is the same level of software as TurboCAD Pro v3 for the MAC.

In regards to the symbols that TurboCAD mentions, ViaCAD, at all levels, contains 26,000 symbols with the ability to add, modify and completely customize the library.
