In 5.5 fx, I can figure out length, area, volume, and under properties one can figure out mass easily based on material. Is there a way to determine weight easily?

Thanks!

Hi misterrogers

Use Verify --> Properties

And enter the correct density of the object and the weight is calculated.

Thanks Jason.

Volume I know of course since I have that info, but for example, if a product is comprised of solid kiln-dried pine, how would you determine the density? I don't know it's moisture content. Is there a standard table of densities for 1m3 of various wood types somewhere out there?

Here is a table I have used before
