Is there a parts library in Shark and if so how can I store parts into it?

I'm tired of copying-pasting drawer construction and hardware from other files.. I thought there was one but haven't been able to locate it.

Hi

You can copy objects (like ViaCAD, & Shark, files ) in the symbols folder in any of the punchcad programs.
C:\Program Files\Punch! Software\ViaCAD 3D V6\Symbols -- this windows file location "Windows"

Replace the green letters with the program type you have
You can add new sub folders as well
So close program, add files to symbols folder, then restart the program
The folders and files you added should show up in the Concept Explorer -->Symbols tab.

You can drag them in anytime.

Regards
Jason

Maybe someone with the mac can add the exact location to place symbols

Thanks Jason, I found a Symbols folder in the Shark v5 directory, but having v5.5, I found no such folder in the new version.

The beta of v7 has a folder so I'm assuming I can just make in the main dir of the app folder and when restarting Shark it will recognize it? I guess I'll try that and post my findings.

The symbols folder is what you want.
