Hi, Tim

When you use precise line mode instead of polyline in draw views the smart dimension tool only draws radius dimensions on a hole cb,cs, etc because it is precisely represented as 2 arcs its dimensioning only the arc value as a radius.

Since polyline mode is referring back to the original geometry its pulling off diameters instead of just dimensioning the radius in the draw view.

Really need a way to get diameter dimensions in precise mode with the smart dimension tool maybe a toggle or check box... something?

Thanks

Jason

We've really got to get right on top of this dimensioning issue, right across the board, Ryan and Tim. 2D drawings with dimensions are still the no.1 in the grand world of MCAD. Just because SFX is mainly seen as CCAD, it doesn't mean that these vital 'bread and butter' tools are ignored!

Fixed in 834. I now internally merge the two arcs. For some reason ACIS splits into 2.

Man, I swear, Tim must have 3 bodies and 4 brains and a Vinculum or task concentrator/coordinator. That's FAST work... hehehe

Tim

Could you also internally combine arcs into 1 arc. Same as circles its splitting arcs into 2 pieces in draw views and flatten draw views

Thanks
