Tim,

as far as I know the Granite import filter usually supports the Pro/E *.neu format (it does, e.g., in PolyTrans). Assuming the SharkFX import filter is based on the same licensed technology, why isn't this format supported in SFX?

In my experience, the *.neu format sometimes helps importing files which tend to fail as *.prt or *.asm.

Hi Bernd

We're not using Granite to do the PRO/E translations but a reverse engineering solution from Spatial.

OK, that explains it, thanks. Maybe Spatial could hack the *.neu format, too? AFAIK it's a stripped down, simple version of the Pro/E format and is used to exchange Pro/E files between different versions of this application :)
