What is the easy way to get a nice image out of ViaCad 3D, in Solidworks I can render to a jpg. Is there a cheap rendering program available, I don't need anything fancy.

thanks

There are tons of free and very good rendering programs available. Unfortunately ViaCAD has no .obj output yet...

Maybe Blender (free) could work as a file converter, .dxf -> .obj and then render your .objs for example in Kerkythea (free), etc.

Regards
Stefan

You could also upgrade to ViaCAD Pro which exports .obj already so no need for an intermediate step to whichever renderer you choose.

All the best
Nick
