Hello Tim & team:

Is there any plans for some development on the layers palette?

I just completed a few jobs where I received some DWG files with many layers. Much room for improvement...

1. drag and drop layers
2. remove layers from layer groups
3. drag and drop objects from one layer to another
4. option to separate features/layers/symbols palettes (for when you have the screen real estate)
5. remove the warning message when deleting empty layers with asterisk (asterisk references some other layer??)
6. option to one click delete all empty layers

Also, when exporting layer groups, each layer picks up the names of all parent layers above it. It would be nice to have a preference to export only the layers name.

Thanks,

Gary

Any word on how much of these suggestions will make it into VC7/VCP7?
