I have BOTH Viacad Pro version 6 and Viacad 2d/3d version 7. I know that I can trim surfaces in Viacad Pro but, I like the new features that Version 7 2d/3d has to offer. The problem is that in the manual on page 288 it says that Viacad 2d/3d has a trim surface tool on the utility palette. I dont see a trim surface tool on my utility palette - so is this a misprint? Also will there be a Viacad version 7 Pro coming out?

Hi Patrick,

ViaCAD 2D/3D does not have that palette. This could be a misprint that I'll will need to pass along to the documentation team. My page 288 documents the solid bend tool. Is it possibly a different page?

Tim,
I should clarify: its page 288 of the PRINTED manual under "SURFACE UTILITIES".
Thanks for the link to the beta of ViaCad PRO :). I was using it over the past two day's at work but, ran into a couple of minor issues. Where should I post to you the issues that I have with it?
Patrick
