Croc leather gets the last (karmic) laugh? If it's "pleather", it might be, ohh... 3 M, hehehe.

Hallo Antoine,
your leather looks good. What programm do you use ? And what kind of renderer do you use ?
I like the white "seams " :)

Hi Antoine,
That's a really good looking render !
Did you carve the croco surface ?
Did you knit the white thread ?
90 MB size is OK then ...
(Tu l'as r©ellement grav© et cousu en 3D ? - C'est magnifique!)

Hello,

thank you for your comments:)

see please attached images for understanding my procedure.

1- rendering is done with: CU v.4... hin hin hin ===> nervous laugh.
rendered with procedural shaders.
made a little cartoon ... but CU is not known to wrap a texture "scarf" with UV.
It has the advantage of supporting very high zoom model, because the procedural shaders do not use an image gallery (croco) as reference.

2- Yes the file is heavy, as many Boolean operations.

a question on the forum had been sendend for the sinusoids problem, but there is a bug in the flattening of the spiral sinusoid. it would have been very practical.
