First time on the site. Thanks for letting me participate.

I have been trying out the "Path Duplicate" and it does not seem to do/work as I imagined or as the manual/or help would seem to indicate.

Any advice appreciated.

ps ViaCAD (what a great step up from Amapi7.52!)

Here's a quicktime movie showing a simple translate along path. You may need to post more info, if this does not help.

http://www.csi-concepts.com/Demo/TranslateAlongPath.mov

Key items:
--the origin is the point that is translated from the part to on the path.

--the alignment vector aligns the part relative to the curve tangent.

Hope this helps!

Thanks.
I wanted to do the exercise using a sphere--and I worked out that these same proceedure had to be followed. And it worked!

Am I correct that the method is not "adequately" described in the manual perhaps?
