It seems that every time I close down Shark FXv5, then start it up again any settings, like page set up, print size, paper layout, etc. are forgotten. Why? Having to reset them every time is a hassle and seems unneccesary.

Hi Brian,

These are stored with the file. Are they getting lost when you read the file back in?

Tim:

Yes, that seems to be the case. Typically I experience this when I'm in the top view, where I've generated a number of model to sheet views that I want to print out as a set of CD's. The page layout always defaults to some odd size that I have to reselect, then redefine the page layout, then go back and reselect the single page mode, then save everything (which obviously it does not seem to do) then print away. If I close the file, then reopen it I have to go through the process all over again. I think Jol said it best one time...Grrrr!

Any thoughts?

One setting that has been aggravating me through countless versions of this software is that when you are in page layout even though single page is selected, the page is actually set to 2 wide.

I assume everybody sees this since I have gone through several versions and computers living with this.

TRUE?
