Hello everyone,
I’ve just purchased VIACAD PRO V16 for Windows, having previously used V11 on Mac.
Do any of you also find that some very useful features are now missing or poorly implemented?
For example:
Far fewer shortcut options
No assignable function keys (F1 to F12)
The gripper on/off toggle doesn’t actually work as on/off — it opens the inspector instead if that panel is collapsed
Impossible to change built-in shortcuts, such as the grid view
Mouse assignment ???
Other issues:
If you change the background color (solid color), entity lines no longer stay black but instead take on the complementary color of the chosen background
Ambient light has no visible effect
I’d like to know if Part Creator works for you — in my case, after modifying data it just spins endlessly and nothing is created
I think a good tutorial would be very helpful.
In trimetric mode, the trihedron doesn’t appear if nothing has been created yet.
