Anybody know what you actually get with the CAD Symbols purchase from the website? Talks about standard parts etc but gives you no idea what they are?

Might just buy it and find out. Having a good library would be nice.
Where's it on sale Larry?

Yeah its OK. Install the program, you get a pull down to select the CAD system. Catia, CREO, Autocad, Solidworks, Solidedge and so on. Go through main topics, architecture, construction, engineering, electrics then get a sub category and select the parts and populate it into your CAD system. Because punch isn't on the list you need to use sat, igs or step and save the file you've configured then fetch it into a new part.

Worked well, saves some time. Not sure how useful it would be to a Catia user since Catia has built in libraries anyway.

The activation code they sent didn't work, and during the activation I got referred to a Web page to enter all the details. It then gave me a V13 activation code for a V14 program, so not sure what's going on there, but all works fine.

Also has a library of I section, and box section and all that so that's quite handy for me.
