When trying to draw a multiple component wall in Arch 2d I get " ViaCad encountered a problem and must close". Any suggestions? The error does not occur when drawing a single component wall.

jors, here is a step by step description of the problem.

1.) select the wall tool.
2.) change wall properties in any way.
3.) click mouse to start wall.
4.) release mouse button or click to finish wall.
5.) message displays that ViaCad encountered an error and must close.
6.) ViaCad closes.

Then happens every time I attempt to draw a wall with properties other than the default setting. I thought I had solved the problem but it still exists. My next step is to uninstall the program and make a new install. If that does not work I will call tech support.

Jim.
