It is rare that I have to make pretty prints for a job, mostly just model space and use print scale works for shop floor.
I am on the last legs of large job that needs pretty prints. The large iso/multi few assemblies I spend hours in illustrator getting right, which works for big prints. Shop going to wants 2d view of each part (xy unwrapped) with BOM containing weight, x and y extents, and quantity. I have all clean dxf files for each part (cnc ready clean) x 478 parts. I can BOM xy, or weight, but not both - which makes me feel like I am missing a simple function/tool symbol somewhere. Also, Making BOM works in model space, but gets scaled into paper space. I found I can change the layer manually - and move into proper layout; on each separate page this gets old after 5 parts, and I have almost 500.
Again, feeling I am missing something vital to my problem that feels like it is in vcp.
Thanks for yalls time.

found it! I borrowed the format in the BOM files in the program file and made a new .bom . Now if I could figure out how to get the title to auto fill with file and scale I would be the laziest productive person today.
