Hi,
This is a very familiar bug !
It bothers me since Vellum 2.7 :

A section view geometry has got many lines, splines, ellipses, arcs, on top of each others.
And there seems to be many small gaps.

Very often, the automatic section tool produces messy hatching.

Manually selecting the outside profile is impossible.

Can it be solved ?
