I just upgraded to SharkCAD 16 and also bought the trainingguide.
Regarding the lasso select tool, used clockwise, only parts inside the points / band should be selected.
But there are always all parts selected.
I checked it with ShardCAD 12 - same result.
Do I use this tool wrong or is it a bug?

A lasso tool?
I'm using Sharkcad14 but never heard of a lasso tool in Sharkcad, just "select" or "deep select"
Can you explain what tool you mean?

The lasso tool works correctly—at least in SharkCAD Pro v14 on macOS. Try drawing two rectangle polygons, then use the Lasso Select tool. If you draw the lasso clockwise, it will select only the objects fully enclosed within the lasso. If you draw it counterclockwise, it will select everything the lasso crosses.
I don’t use this tool frequently, so there might still be some bugs.

PS: If you use the Smart Polygon option, I’ve noticed it doesn’t behave as expected.

Hi, is that just because you can’t select any line in a Smart polygon if it’s not created as a Single Line Model

As an aside, anyone know of an easy way to convert a Smart Polygon to Single Line, as I’ve sometimes been caught out with this when editing later
