I'm also use it for 3D printing and solid modelling and sheet metal, nothing wrong with it.
As far as I could see almost nothing is changed as now you can place a bold on it's place by using constraints and the explanation how to do it takes 3 minutes!
In V14 I do it in a few seconds without constraints
My problem is slightly different, although my use came is the same.
I'm running macOS Tahoe, so my v14 is totally unusable with frequent crashes, cursor lock outs, and Concept Explorer glitches, so my only option is to get v16, or get another Mac/Windows computer and not be able to open my existing saved v16 Beta test files.
Cynically not sure if anyone has noticed, after waiting for the Black Friday discount codes, the website upped the cost of the software vs the previous discount code that was offered, so the total cost is the same...
I never took screenshots, but to upgrade from a sub 5 year old version, it was $699 less 20% before vs $789 less 25% on the Black Friday deal.
Maybe it's my memory playing games, but this is a little naughty, if this is the case.

EDITED... if you open v14 and check for upgrade you get a couple of options in the dialog box... the upgrade link sends you to the original PunchCAD webpage with the $599 upgrade + $100 surcharge, on checkout add the PCBFCM25 discount code and bypass the higher cost link.
