Does this exist? I see it is in SharkCAD PRO12. I currently run ViaCAD PRO 10 and am considering and upgrade to 12 but only for mesh to NURB.

No, it is not in SharkCAD pro v12 because they removed the feature.
It is not the first time they removed features in what is sold as an upgrade.
In version 8 they removed constraints but the same constraints were reintroduced as a new feature for v11.
This sort of thing makes me very angry but what can you do?
Fusion 360 has T-Subs that convert to nurbs. There is some associativity but not as elegant as it was in SharkCad.
Currently, I am switching between versions 10 and 12 in order to maintain the feature, which is very tedious.
If you are still on v10 you might be able to purchase PowerPack Pro through a reseller if you are persistent enough.

PunchCAD, that is, ViaCAD and Shark and variants, was originally the 'retail' line that grew out of Concepts Unlimited. Punch! was bought up by Encore/Broderbund, Encore by IMSI in turn. Licensing arrangements have been subject to those realignments, ownership and management changes, the loss of Mesh-to-NURBS and even the removal of ACIS from base versions are an unfortunate outcome. It's useful to remember that Shark Pro V10 and PPPro have flexible license that enable installation on multiple PCs, even now. Installations can only be open one at a time, but V11 and V12 can't be multiple-installed, and to me, that's as great a loss as mesh-to-nurbs. Maybe time for dongles to make a comeback?

Hi,
The quality of converting depends on the number of polygons and the quality of quad mesh. Especially good and correctly converted low-poly models. The NURBS from 30K+ polys mesh is difficult to edit.
I almost do not use this feature, but sometimes it’s help is invaluable.

Here the video about how I fixed the unsuccessful surface using retopology and Mesh to NURBS converting:

licensewise on 2 systems using them alternatingly.

yep, the often dissed dongles do have advantages... no lost license if the system changes (OS, hardware) and switching between system doesn't require to deactivate/activate the license.
