There are some other CAD-Programs which have already Modeling with a VR Projection Method inclusive, for example Tenado. This Should also working when the HMD is a stand alone display.

I was testing the oculus rift (only with some games like Alyx) But i can say, This can be a revolution for 3D-Modeling when you see which Points are in front and which points are in the background.

At the moment not even the perspective works....... But The Stereoscopic VR-Projection Method should work, this will be really a new dimension.

Have you played with Quill and Medium? They came for free with the original Rift. Sculpting life sized objects with Medium is amazing.

Pretty cool stuff, and if they had CAD precision I would definitely use them.

Thank you, i am testing.... i found Sketch Box is near to CAD, but without CAD Precision, This have Snaps and can snap to a axis and endpoints and surfaces. But i have to say, i need my real keyboard and my mouse anyway. The controllers are not necessary. The driving simulators for example work anyway with mouse and keyboard or steering wheel. And The CAD without my Keyboard and mouse which can be blind used, is maybe not a good idea, because i need input values faster than with the virtual keyboard possible. But maybe i will use it also with the controllers when it good enough.
