is there any way to get SharkCAD Pro to calculate the moments of inertia of a cross section made from more than one area? and a slightly different question: is there a way to tell/direct SharkCad Pro what X & Y-axis to use for the calculation of the moments of inertia?? see attached graphic

Hello Art,

>> to calculate the moments of inertia of a cross section made from more than one area?

No sorry, ACIS wants one closed area.

>>is there a way to tell/direct SharkCad Pro what X & Y-axis to use for the calculation of the moments of inertia??

There is no way for the user to specify the x /y axis.
