the "Loft Surface" tool seems a little too picky; see attached collage (SharkCAD Pro 1369)

has anyone been able to confirm either or both of the situations shown?? if I have a setting wrong, it needs to get fixed pronto because not being able to do any surface work with the radiused rectangles is a serious pain!!

:) You're right. Loft does not work correctly with a set of curves. Loft does not work with groups. Ruled surface works well with groups.

All the tools need auditing for :

1.) qualifying inputs

2.) useful tool rules & prompts

3.) constructive error messaging

One of the reasons Shark is hard to use is that the above are inconsistent

Skin surface does work... I don't agree that Shark's hard to use, in absolute or relative terms.

Yes, it's easy to navigate once you know where the potholes are !

It would seem it is a pothole with the loft surface tool but this tool as far as have known it for years is supposed to work with surface edges and non-closed profiles especially since that command has the bulge aspect to it. I suppose you can bulge it to zero from the 1 setting. But to me production and less keystrokes is a factor so I rely on the ruled and skin surface commands.

When closed profiles, just use the ruled surface or skin surface that one works for both non-closed and open profiles as well on the diagonal round.
