Using VCP_10 to make small prototyping for 3D printing. I export in STL and looking for a way to save my settings. Every time i export and came to "Mesh Parameter" i must enter all my settings every time. How to save them, or where is the config file to edit?

I fully support this request !
I spend an lot of time reentering parameters everywhere :
- Export parameters
- Printing parameters
- Page set up...
Thanks 3Dup

I can see a potential problem here. Setting a very fine tesselation for a model can lock up your machine for minutes or even create a crash. So if you exported a small object with a fine setting and next you try to export a huge model with the same setting you’ll have a problem. Actually I seem to remember that it used to work like that some versions ago. The problem is that a preview is automatically generated with the default setting. If the last setting is saved, the preview must not generate before you had the chance to edit the settings.

Please try to draw some 10 mm cutout in a block, then export it with default setting to stl. Then slice it in S3D or other, print and see how it look. Then try to export again with tease setting: SD:0,6 ND:5 EL:0,6 AS:5 And check:AN, AF, STL Facets Then export and print is again. What do you see? First export will print oval and tolerance is real bad. Second export print nice round with tolerance near the expected 10mm STL export is so bad in VCP and must be reworked. Best way will be to have a menu to enter surface tolerance and then VCD decide the settings. Problem with the settings is, when you want some nice tolerance for circle there need a lot detail then it calculate the same for a flat surface and this not needed.
