This should be a no-brainer. Pick a view, pick the fold line...I should have a view in 3rd angle NOT 1st angle. None of the other views on my drawing are 1st angle. I have Aerospace as the default, although that should have noting to do with folding out views.

I've not noticed that to be honest. You can flip the line does that help?

YoodaMan UGMENTALCASE! Your suggestion made me think of picking the fold line in the opposite order (in this case, top right to bottom left instead of bottom left to top right) and I did get a 3rd angle projection as the result.

Yeah, if you've ever used the split tool or whatever it's called where you select 2 points to create a vector to split down, depending on whether you pick top then bottom, or bottom then top it fires the split in different directions :-)
