is there a way to blend (with either standard Shark or Powerpack tool(s)) the overhanging geometry shown in the attached image? failing that, how would one go about imposing the tube profile on the perimeter of the hoop?

thanks

Hi Art

You could try...

1. Face /Face blend (hold shift key to select each face)

2. Edge blend with retain features enabled.

3. Fixed width blend

Tough looking blend!

Tim-

thanks for the blend ideas. couldn't make any of them work. a one rail sweep solid perpendicular to the perimeter curve followed by a blend fillet did the trick............ not eloquent but got the job done!

There is also a Problem with removing the Blending with the tool "Remove Face".

Try holding the shift key and selecting the adjacent face blends.
