The main window is not in focus and 3Dconnexion is disconnected until mouseclick in main window. I have a little trick for this problem, because when you have a tool like the line-tool in hand and are about drawing a line and close the concepts explorer while drawing the line, you are maybe not able to make a mouseclick without moving the item a little bit with the 3dconnexion. Then use just use ALT+Tab 2 times and the focus is back without the obligatory mouseclick. Sure i know that the Esc -key used for the way out of the actual operation but using the Esc-Key also for closing such child-windows like Concept Explorer, Inspector or Select Mask is imo not in conflict with using it for cancelling the actual operation, because the esc-key should then only working for closing child windows when they in focus and after closing can the Esc again used for abort of the actual operation.

I found in this seconds another trick as a ultimative solution, this is the stroke-command ctrl+shift and mouse frame for zoom. Using this bring the 3dconnexion reconnected. The child windows should work in the same way like the big top mainbar. When editing a lenght in the main bar is the 3dconnexion disconnected and when finished with enter reconnected. But i am about to open the navigator window again permanently. Maybe its posssible to use the 3dconnexion also for turning the navigator. A nother Problem is that the 3dconnexion use just the middlepoint of selected items for turning. In the navigator i can change the turningpoint while a tool in hand or while drawing a line.
