Hello Derek

PowerPack Pro can convert SketchUp files, some examples below.

If you post one that I can use to make a video, I'll take a shot at converting.

This is a real difficult one. On my Sketch Up it looks great when I send or export it to DXF or DWG or OBJ it has problems. If it looks like you can do something with it but cannot overcome the flaws I will redraw it. It has had so many small changes that I think some errors have crept in.

Actually I will send two files Carriage (difficult) and CarriageComponentMount In Skp, DWG and DXF
File Attachment(s):
CarriageComponentMount.dwg (854kb) downloaded 5 time(s).
CarriageComponentMount.dxf (3,594kb) downloaded 4 time(s).
DerekBr0wn attached the following image(s):
CarriageComponentMount2.PNG (46kb) downloaded 9 time(s).
CarriageComponentMount1.PNG (41kb) downloaded 9 time(s).

If the attachment is not uploading, try zipping and uploading.

Other file zipped Thanks Tim. I must say that this is a very frustrating user group I have spent hours with it. It seems to just lock up. I'm giving up the will to live here
File Attachment(s):
Carriage.zip (1,898kb) downloaded 9 time(s).

Can you private email the Sketchup file if unable to attach it?

The DWG files download fine but are exploded. The sketchup file should retain the components.

looks like your dwg exporter is converting the meshes into lines so you get both meshes and lines. Try to export just the model without the text too since the import sees more than one mesh.

Alternatively, export in .stl.

Tim, how about a video of your findings. Despite closing the mesh, the subD to NURB crashes pro CAD10.

I personally don't like to work in mesh but lately I've been getting lots of clients sending me .stl files and need to figure out the power pack tool well enough.
