Ask me. 7 hours of work. ViaCad crashed and I lost all my work. The worst thing is it sat there but was unsaveable, non exportable, before finally totally crashing. I guess you get what you pay for...... My fault for not backing up during a session I guess.

I hate Viacad right now.

Actually. Is there an auto-save option for this software?

Try doing a search on your computer for an Untitled1 ViaCAD file, might have saved it in a
backup or user folder.
I don't use auto-save, I make a folder for the project and save as I build the model.
Save often, and give each saved file a date and time, or name eg. Outlines, Chamfers, Holes etc.
Often times auto-save can do more harm than good.

Oh man! that sucks. I do auto_save all the time. It has saved my butt countless hours. Don't assume every software is crash proof as there's no such concept in a real world.

I'm on a Mac so I know that the back up are in the Library folder.

I do a lot organic shapes so pushing the limits of the machine is bound to crash here and there. Learn how to use auto_save. You'll be glad you did.

Cheers.
