suggest the number of "skinable" curves be increased to a minimum of 255 (ie: 2^8). 50 section ports (~0.075") are currently requiring me to create and join two surfaces; the concern being slope continuity at the artificial interface

Overlap the surfaces five profiles and trim each back three, their junction will be tangential.
