Can macro's be made / run through ViaCad or Shark ? Or any suggestions on an external software that might work nicely with ViaCad/Shark ?

Extremely limited macro capability, some documentation can be found in the user guide.

Do a File : Import : Macro with the attached.

I used to use an Adesso MCK-142PRO until it died, could not find a replacement.

Now I use a Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2013, which is really a gaming keyboard, but handles
macros well for me.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll try these out along with some others and see what I come up with.

I used to have a 4-button mouse by a Taiwan company called A4Tech, it came with a nifty suite of software that used two of the buttons to bring up configurable toolbars, each with 14 buttons. Users could record keyboard sequences (I don't know if there was a limit to the number of steps, I never reached it) to be initiated by the buttons, which could be given any icon you wanted to provide. I've still got the floppy with the software, which also worked with generic mice as well, and also to some extent with ctrl + right-click on touchpads, but I haven't got a floppy drive that'll read it, if it hasn't arbitrarily reformatted itself after all this time. A4Tech doesn't have that particular suite on their support site anymore, either, and their current products use something else. Pity. It was a nice piece of work. How do you set up your Razer keyboard, Larry? Record sequences?

There is an application with the keyboard. Enclosed is a screenshot,
but do a search on Youtube, it will be
explained much better than I can explain.
I also use the Habu mouse, which is also programmable, left side button
for 'spacebar' to PAN etc.
The keyboard is also good for logging in to Forums, Websites etc.
Hit one key, enters Username, Password and Login.
