Bad luck - I think nobody knows

Can MicroStation save out a dxf / dwg ?

I can imagine if you have an archive of drawings, this is a hassle

Sorry - best I can do

If you have access to MicroStation you can export or import DXF and DWG files. The latest Version 7 can and V8 definitly. Look under the File pull down there should be a selection for import and/or export. Once the DXF?DWG is imported you can then save the file to a DGN format for Microstation.

if you have no access to Microstation you might want use the free Teigha Viewer f. Win & OSX to convert DGNs from/to the standard for 2D data exchange = the DXF/DWG format.
