the wires in this file are port cross sections. They have been manipulated by me. I either need to be able to make them into a solid, or skin the outside, but when I do it gets all twisted.
What am I doing wrong.
I have been able to do about anything I needed to do for the 6 years I have been using the software, but this is something new I have just ran into.
I think part of the problem is the line is broken up into too many sections. is there a way to turn it into one line?
thanks
Charlie Westcott.

HI Charlie

Did you try to group the lines together at each cross section?

Join the curves with "join curve" tool instead grouping them, and then use the skin solid tool with perpendicular skin option selected, see the attached img.

I have VC pro, it doesnt have the U and V check boxes that yours has. And when you skin it it has funny diagonals going from one wire to the next.
I guess I was wondering if I bought the next version, or shark would it work better for what I am doing.
