Hi All,

I've been getting lots of emails regarding availability of ViaCAD PRO v6. It's now live at the URL below.

There are upgrades from ViaCAD Pro V5 for $50 and upgrades from ViaCAD 2D/3D for 140. If you get email from our marketing guys, those coupon codes they sometimes send may also apply.

If you do purchase ViaCAD Pro V6, and are interested in early releases, drop me a private email with your serial number and I will add you to the email list I keep. We're polishing up a 834 release now...

Tim, is the "bending along curve" tool a recent addition, or something I've just missed?

Bending along curve was in ViaCAD Pro V5. It is not in ViaCAD 2D/3D.

Ah, I couldn't find it in Shark- so I only assumed it was a new feature.

Is there an updated feature list somewhere?
I'm interested to see if the Mechsoft stuff made it into this release.

Silly me. It was always there! :o

I think it was one of those tools that looked great in practice, but really hard to get my head around (no pun intended!) in a demo. I need to give this another shot, once I get a proper copy of Shark ;) :D

The macro parser I mentioned earlier is something we're doing in the Shark V6 code stream.

I'm having trouble purchasing the upgrade. It doesn't appear in the items to download area. I have emailed support but haven't gotten a response yet.
