ViaCAD Pro V6 is in the final stages of release. We're just waiting on some documentation and tutorials and the boxes. ViaCAD Pro is $249.

And,

http://www.punchcad.com/products/viacadpro_features.htm

Shows a $499 MSRP

http://www.punchcad.com/products/viacadpro.htm

Shows a $249 MSRP

But, the forum.punchcad.com URL shows icons for Viacad Pro, and for some reason, I'm confused. BOY I'd like to get my hands on VC6 Pro.

Hmm... So, Tim, i can't wait to find out which i'll be buying. I'm wondering if VC6 will deprecate VC5 Pro. The $249 is for that, right? VC5 Pro?

I am becoming keenly interested in surface-surface trimming and a few other tools that the current (not yet upgraded) VC6 doesn't have. S-S trimming would be a GREAT time-saver for me.

Here is the ViaCAD product family and pricing.

ViaCAD Pro v6 will update ViaCAD Pro v5 ($249.00)
ViaCAD 2D/3D v6 updates ViaCAD 2D/3D v5 ($99.00)
ViaCAD 2D v6 will update ViaCAD 2D v5 ($49.00)

If you are upgrading from ViaCAD product the price is...

249-99-10 = 140.

Likewise if you ever decide to bump up to Shark LT its...
495-249-10=236.

No product will be dropped, just updated with newer releases. We changed the pricing of ViaCAD Pro last quarter to provide a better pricing ramp from ViaCAD to Shark and expand shelf space in North America stores.
