Hi All,

Marketing asked that I do a web presentation of Shark FX V7. If you are interested in seeing the demo, send an email to Leslie.

Would it be possible to have a Podcast made available for those of us who can't make the live demo?

Marketing? There is a marketing department??

Okay, okay! Excellent stuff Tim! :) Why don't you publish the resulting on YouTube? That would be far better, because it would reach a wider audience (I'll probably be in bed when the webcast is done!)

Do we get to see you too? :D

Exactly my thinking when i saw the notice. If the trade mags don't allocate pages of paper, then YouTube will certainly be more viral than waiting for months for a mag's internal marketing to greenlight a story.

Now, if the retailers selling ViaCAD & Shark link or post a placard by the boxes, then the shoppers will likely return to Frys or where ever and buy that box set.

I did come in late, so I apologise for that. However I did come away feeling disappointed with what I did see, as I found that it only really covered what had already been mentioned in the .mov files, elsewhere on this forum.

It was also disappointing to hear that compatibility with Inventor was only available with Windows and not Mac OS X. But I suppose that isn't really Tim's fault. Autodesk Mac support is getting quite exciting. I've heard rumours that AutoCAD is definately coming to Mac OS X. I've also heard that 3DS Max and Inventor are also being considered. Great news indeed! Perhaps Autodesk will buy Shark FX?? :D

Tom :)
