This Punch forum isn't keen on my favourite Mac browser- Safari, as Safari keeps spacing on the password-

However, I've been using Mozilla Seamonkey a lot recently, as it seems to be quite good for remembering passwords, especially those on difficult Apple-unfriendly websites. No menu services though (boo-hoo), but at least it logs into this forum in an instance with no request for passwords.

There. My top-tip of the month :D

I only know 2 Safari unfriendly sites : French tax payment platform and this forum.
I still keep hoping for a fix (at least for this forum)...

Actually, it is true. This forum.

Safari isn't really that bad. It's a LOT better than Internet Explorer for eg!

Well no it's not, if you are using a Macintosh, because Firefox doesn't use Apple services and nor does Seamonkey for that matter.

But that is really avoiding the issue. Firefox is fine if you use Windows, but if you are a Mac user (and I think many people who use Shark/ VC are) then Safari is the better browser, but unfortunately this forum doesn't like Safari very much. That's not good :(

I used to use Safari for most of my browsing, but it failed to allow me access to one of my financial institutions, and when I contacted the institution, they simply said that there were not enough Mac users for them to do anything about it, and left me hanging!!!
So I loaded Firefox, and now use it most of the time, but Safari is still there and can be started quickly if I need anything which Firefox won't do.
