After adding the text (Along curve), I then remove the links from the text to the curve, when I then translate the text (with the translate tool or the nudge keys) the text disappears.

I am also seeing some problems with the spacing of the text along the curve. I can change the spacing by either attempting to translate the text, or by going into an ortho view and pressing one of the nudge keys that are set, but the problem (IMHO) should not be there. In fact the more I use the text tool, the more problems appear.

Anyone else seeing problem with the text tool?

I would put together some examples, but the lack (again) of any interest from Tim makes me not want to waste the time (and e-mailing punch support is a complete waste of an e-mail).

Hi Steve,
I'm seeing the same problems, also sometimes with the spacing, if you do an UNDO it shows that the text was deleted, and an UNDO will not work.
